The Highlanders’ Museum is seeking a full time Business Manager to work at Fort George, Ardersier, near Inverness.
The Museum is a key component of Fort George, a leading Historic Environment Scotland visitor attraction in the Highlands attracting over 65 thousand visitors annually. The Museum is an independent business housing the collection of The Queen’s Own Highlanders (Seaforth and Camerons).
The successful candidate will work closely with the Museum Director to ensure the continued commercial success of the Highlanders’ Museum (Queen’s Own Highlanders Collection). This will entail undertaking many different tasks; from marketing and PR to event co-ordination and writing funding applications. Excellent communication skills are key to this position as there is a great deal of liaison with outside agencies. A good working knowledge of SAGE and the Microsoft Office programmes are also required for this position. The candidate will be required to assist with the day to day running of the Museum as necessary as well as working some weekends on a rotational basis.
Salary: To be negotiated
Contract: Full time
