Facing threats on many fronts, Britain urgently needed more troops. The Highland Clans offered a ready source, none more so than Clan Mackenzie and two regiments were raised. For the next 136 years, the Seaforth Highlanders saw active service across the globe. Their fighting skills always welcomed by the many Generals throughout their history. Captured in the display cases are fine examples of this famous Highland regiment contribution to the Highland Heritage.
