The Highlanders Museum is seeking a full time Retail and Front of House Manager to work at Fort George, Ardersier, Nr Inverness.   The Museum is a key component of Fort George, a leading Historic Environment Scotland visitor attraction in the Highlands. The Museum is an independent business housing the collection of The Queen’s Own Highlanders (Seaforth and Camerons).

The Museum attracts over 55,000 visitors a year, is fully accredited and was recently awarded 5*status as a visitor attraction by Visit Scotland.

This exciting job opportunity will require the successful candidate to have relevant retail experience and the ability to work in a fast – paced environment ensuring a high standard of customer service at all times.  The efficient management of the Museum Front of House is also a key responsibility of the role and you will be required to work with a dedicated team of volunteers to ensure every visitor receives a 5 star welcome.

The successful candidate will report to the Museum Director and work as a member of a small team of full time staff and volunteers.

Salary: £21k per annum
