WAR’S FORGOTTEN WOMEN: JOIN US FOR OUR CONVERSATION EVENTS ABOUT WAR WIDOWHOOD IN THE UK

We are thrilled to announce that the team from War Widows’ Stories will be here at The Highlanders’ Museum on 20th July from 3pm. This is the chance for wives, partners and families to talk about their experience of war and conflict.

War Widows Stories
War’s Forgotten Women – tell your story

Funded by the British Academy and held amidst the collections and surroundings of fascinating military history museums and memorial spaces, the events will feature conversations between historians, war widows, and representatives of service and war widows’ associations. By bringing together historical research, political perspectives, and first-hand experiences, these conversations will reveal the stories of war’s forgotten women, past and present. Admission is free and refreshments will be provided. Please book your place by emailing info@warwidowsstories.org.uk or via our Facebook page. If you have any questions about these events, please don’t hesitate to get in touch with us. We look forward to seeing you there
