Ahead of our re-opening today the team from Forces Television came out to chat to the Museum team about the measures taken to ensure a safe and welcoming environment for all of our visitors. Please click on the link below to check out the piece by Forces Television which was aired on Thursday 10th September.

We are delighted to be re-opening to visitors after almost 6 months of being closed.  The Museum team have worked extremely hard in preparation for today and are looking forward to welcoming visitors.  In line with guidance and to ensure the safety of our visitors, volunteers and staff the Museum have introduced a one way system along with hand sanitising stations throughout the Museum.  We would also respectfully ask that visitors wear a face covering whilst within the Museum.  We will  have face masks available for a small donation to the Museum should you forget yours.  Should you wish to visit us you must book in advance via the following link http://https://www.historicenvironment.scot/visit-a-place/places/fort-george/ .  Friends of the Museum should contact the Fort George visitor centre direct on 01667 460232 to book your slot.
